Italian Realtor to provide international services. We are proud

Giovanni Alunno, Paolo’s father, established
a construction firm in 1950 and he began to buy and sell real estate
properties, on his own. Considering the repeated requests of friends,
he decided to help sellers and buyers in their transfers of real
estate as intermediary, using his house like an office.
 In
the meantime the market was becoming wider and people from U.S.A.,
U.K., and Germany was, more and more, looking for farmhouses. In
1960 Giovanni was called by a very important Swiss real estate agency
that got in touch with him, to cooperate as its only exclusive agent
in the municipal land of Cortona and surroundings. He worked with
this main company until 1980, acquiring a great professional experience
in intermediation.
His son, Paolo, at the same time, took his law degree and became
his partner. Paolo noticed that the greatest difficulty for the
foreign customers, after purchasing their houses, was the restoration
and that the profession of real estate agents had changed, becoming
more complex: he decided to provide for his customers with a complete
service, running a restoration firm, this way his customers could
be sure, at the moment of purchase, of the final price, the delivery’s
date and the legal assistance.
During the nineties, the Alunno Immobiliare Srl helped the writer
Frances Mayes, “Under the Tuscan sun”, and other famous
people finding their Tuscan farmhouses. The owner, Dr. Paolo Alunno,
in the last few years, acquired count Silvio Passerini, descendant
of a noble and famous family of Cortona, as partner.
The Alunno Immobiliare Srl has had recognitions in Italy and foreign
countries for its professional competence, its reliability and its
experience acquired in 50 years of activity.
